Vijayapura: Two persons were charred to death after a fire broke out in a hut on the outskirts of the Town late in the night of Saturday February 25.
The deceased have been identified as Karimsaba Imamsaba Tapala (82) and Sajanabi Karimsaba Tapala (82).
The fire broke out from a chimney while the duo was sleeping in the hut. This has resulted in the hut being burnt to ashes.
The two people died on the spot. Police has visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
A case has been registered at Chadachana Police Station.
