Fire in garbage dump, boat burnt | All About Belagavi News

Dharawad: In a tragic incident, a boat on the banks of Unkal Lake in Hubballi caught fire after a heap of garbage dumped in a park near the lake caught fire.

At around 9.00 am, a man, who had come for a walk in Unkal Lake, smoked a cigarette and threw it in a heap of dried garbage, causing panic among the people present at the spot.

The incident took place under Vidyanagar Police Station limits.
