 Ukraine war victim Naveen's family realises dream of new home

Haveri: As a tribute to the departed soul the family of Ukraine war victim Naveen’s family has made one of his dreams come true. The parents of Naveen, a MBBS student from a remote village of the District who died in Ukraine last year in Russian attack have built a new house and named it after him.

Naveen, 21 years, a final year MBBS student of Kharkiv National Medical University died when Russian soldiers blew up a building on March 1. Later his body was brought to India and then donated to medical college by the family.

One of the dreams of Naveen was building a new house for the parents. Now his family including father Shekhara Gowda, mother Vijayalakshmi, and brother Harsha built a new house in their native Village Chalageri, and named it as Jnana Sindhu-Kannada Kanmani Dr. Naveen S. G. Mane (MBBS – Ukraine).

According to Hindu calendar, the first anniversary of Naveen falls on Friday February 17. So, the family has organised the house warming ceremony in the day.
