Dharawad: A man, who works as a veterinary observer in the Animal Husbandry Department of the Town, died on the spot after being hit by a tanker.
The deceased has been identified as Chandasaab Kiresur. He was on his way to Tambura Village on duty near Shinganalli Cross on National Highway 63.
Taluk Veterinary Officer Devendrapa Lamani and Kalaghatagi CP Srishaila Koujalagi visited the spot and registered a case.
